Based in the center of Brussels, IRISnet is a young and dynamic telecom and services provider. As main asset, IRISnet owns more than 400km optical cables on the Region and has one of the biggest fiber optic footprints on this area. Connecting thousands of sites through different technologies, IRISnet offers many different services to its customers like connectivity (IP VPN), dedicated VoIP solutions, video protection & video conference services, wifi.brussels and so on.

FUNCTION

As IRISnet ’s ambition is to enable a Smart Region ecosystem, their Products & Services portfolio is currently growing as per customers’ needs. Much focus has been put on promoting new solutions/value-added services such as Videoprotection (CCTV), Videoconference, Global Guest solution, Cloud and Cyber Security.

The Product Marketing Manager sustains marketing plans and the company’s objectives in terms of product quality, market feasibility, customer experience. He/she will represent IRISnet in a professional manner in order to build and manage relationships with both the business and technical/ICT departments. He /she is in charge to create demand for the products through effective messaging and marketing programs. The product Marketing Manager develop and implement the most profitable plans to position and promote our products. He/she make Customers & prospects to understand the problems we solve and the value they get from IRISnet products and solutions.

RESPONSABILITIES

Principal accountabilities for this function are:

  • Develops and updates his/her in-life roadmap, sustaining marketing plans and the company’s objectives in terms of product quality and customer experience.
  • Develops and manage relations with the internal solution partners related to his scope of activities.
  • Consistently analyze the market and competitive landscape. Become the internal expert on the market and provide recommendations for product direction.
  • Drive awareness (both internally and externally) of market opportunities, including the challenges that customers face and how our client’s solutions can help solve these challenges.
  • Delivers offer, offer processes and offer experience enhancements with end-to-end responsibility from opportunity identification to launch.
    • Defines the needs, business hypothesis, requirements and targets for the solutions
    • Contributes to the project planning and delivery dimensions to ensure delivery is realistically planned, pro-actively managed and accurately reported
    • Ensures consistency, alignment and compliance with the project management processes
  • Performs In-life management of the existing consumer offer portfolios
    • Manages a commercial and quality performance (KPI) dashboard
    • Maintains awareness of offer performance (customer needs, pain points and expectations, technology evolutions, distribution behaviour, benchmarking with competitors) in order to propose improvements
  • Collaborate actively with cross-functional teams to execute best-in-class product launches and initiatives
  • Provide appropriate reporting and KPI’s and closely monitor the market and the competition
  • Engage in product/service conversations and presentations with customers/prospects/partners assuring the audience understands IRISnet added value solutions.

THE CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate has the following profile:

  • Around 5 years’ experience in Product Development & Product Management, Project Management or Business development within Telecom and/or IT
  • In-depth knowledge of telecommunications offer portfolio and associated experiences
  • Knowledge in ICT products (UCC, Security, SDWAN and Managed LAN) is a strong asset
  • Excellence in customer focus
  • Passion for technology with good understanding of Telecom and Networking solutions, at ease with technical topics.
  • Outstanding oral, written, presentation and analytic skills.
  • Fluent in French and Dutch with good knowledge of English.

The successful candidate should be:

  • Strong communicator with interpersonal skills who can develop solid relationships, influence clients in their decision making (storytelling) and achieve required results for his/her client within IRISnet.
  • Autonomous, self-motivated, engaged and organized, ready to take ownership, set priorities and work towards deliverables and achieve results.
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and measurement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while successfully handling multiple projects at the same time.
  • Energetic, enthusiast and curious, takes initiatives, identifies opportunities, proposes out-of-the-box solutions and is flexible in quickly adapting to change;
  • Analytical with financial insight, familiar with key financial ratios and business indicators.
  • Good balance of attention to detail and strategic, “big picture” thinking.
  • Ability to translate technical topics into easy-to-understand language.
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently, while also collaborating cross-functionally across the organization.
